How Spartans FC improved communication across more than 160 volunteer coaches
With over 160 volunteer coaches supporting teams across the club, Spartans FC needed a better way to communicate with parents, players and volunteers.

The Challenge
Relying on multiple social media channels made it difficult to ensure information was accurate, consistent and shared responsibly. As a club with a strong focus on safeguarding and welfare, maintaining oversight of communication was just as important as keeping everyone informed.

The Solution
Community Club App became the club’s official communication platform, allowing news, fixtures, training updates and important announcements to be shared directly with parents and supporters through one trusted channel.
Age groups could publish their own updates while club administrators retained control over messaging, ensuring communication remained professional, consistent and aligned with the club’s safeguarding responsibilities.

The Results
Parents always know where to find the latest information, coaches spend less time chasing messages, and the club has greater confidence that important communications are reaching the right people. Most importantly, Spartans now has a controlled digital environment that supports its commitment to safeguarding young people while reducing reliance on social media.
“The app is a fantastic tool for getting information out quickly and clearly to parents. It’s a great tool to have at the club.”
